This position reports to

Procurement & Logistics Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will have the chance to create a comprehensive production timetable based on the production strategy to optimize resource utilization and adhere to defined production specifications and timelines. Each day, you will provide insights on production capacity challenges and material availability. You will also demonstrate your expertise by issuing manufacturing work orders. The work model for this role is: onsite. This role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products division. Your main responsibilities will include: -Developing and sustaining a thorough production schedule from the production strategy. -Implementing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to formulate and oversee production needs to align with delivery timelines. -Determining the sequence and lead time for each operation to fulfill shipment deadlines according to the master schedule/plan. -Tracking schedule compliance, identifying primary root causes for discrepancies, and initiating follow-up improvement actions.

Qualifications for the role
  • -Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field / Or a minimum of 5 years in an MRP environment in scheduling/planning/production control
  • -Demonstrated experience in production scheduling, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting, with proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems.
  • -Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • -Candidates must possess work authorization that permits them to work for ABB.
