About the Role:
Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is a leading consulting engineering firm seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team in Charlottesville. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and documenting system designs for energy-efficient building solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
- Interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design and information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
Requirements:
- BSAE or BSME required.
- 3+ years experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
- PE License or ability to become licensed.
- Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
