Job Title: PRN Passenger Transportation Driver

Ace Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and responsible PRN (as-needed) Passenger Transportation Driver to join our team. As a PRN Passenger Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and punctual transportation of passengers to their destinations while adhering to all local and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and responsibly operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, or buses, depending on the specific job assignment.
  • Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and mechanically sound vehicle, performing routine safety checks, and promptly reporting any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and handling any special requests.
  • Ensure the safety and security of passengers, following all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger information, if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, co-workers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, or ticket sales in a professional and accurate manner, if required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on safety, customer service, and job-specific skills.
  • Work on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular drivers during their scheduled time off, vacations, or busy periods.
Expectations:
  • Must be flexible and reliable to travel to Berea and Valleyview location for coverage.
  • Must follow attendance policy and any other transportation-related policies.
  • ON Call position- means you are not scheduled to work but can be called in short notice if someone calls offs.
  • Continuous Rejections- After 5 times of saying that you are unable to work whether call off coverage or drivers request offs you will be subject to corrective action.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and punctuality.
  • Physical fitness to handle passenger boarding and luggage, if required.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends as needed.
  • Previous transportation or driving experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of first-aid and emergency procedures is advantageous.
