Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team at Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Careers. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for our clients on predetermined routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate agency's noncommercial passenger van to transport clients to and from service locations.
  • Follow assigned routes and time schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with agency's transportation rules and procedures, as well as all relevant laws and safety regulations.
  • Complete mileage and transportation logs to track vehicle usage and maintenance needs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles and perform daily inspection checklists to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Report needed repairs and maintenance to the Supervisor for scheduling.
  • Forward fuel and related expense receipts to the Supervisor for reimbursement.
  • Report emergency situations to the appropriate Department Director(s).
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License (CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record with no traffic violations.
  • Ability to safely operate noncommercial passenger vans.
  • Good verbal communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with agency employees, outside contacts, and a diverse client population.
