Automotive Technician

Job Summary:

The Garage Mechanic is a key member of the Cedar Point team, responsible for maintaining the company's vehicle fleet and equipment in a safe and reliable condition. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
• Respond to guest service calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional service according to Cedar Point standards.
• Operate tow trucks and service trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of guests and equipment.
• Perform related automotive and light truck service work as directed, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety rules and policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification in auto repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check, per Company policy.
