Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Pump Assembly Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling vacuum pumps and their associated components, ensuring they meet rigorous quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Pump Assembly Technician, your main duties will include:
1. Assembling a diverse range of vacuum pumps and related peripherals.
2. Conducting tests to ensure units meet specified tolerances and product requirements.
3. Maintaining strict adherence to quality assurance protocols.
4. Documenting and reporting inspection results accurately.
5. Performing visual and measurement inspections as directed.
6. Collaborating with various departments to communicate results and findings.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle complex components.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Basic math skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Competency in MS Office applications for record-keeping and documentation.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to final assembly inspection processes.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to:
- Stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Utilize both manual and power tools safely.
