We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Pump Assembly Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling vacuum pumps and their associated components, ensuring they meet stringent tolerances and specifications. You will conduct tests and calibrations according to established protocols and communicate results effectively to relevant departments.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Pump Assembly Technician, your duties will include:
1. Assembling a variety of vacuum pumps and peripherals.
2. Conducting tests to ensure compliance with quality standards.
3. Maintaining rigorous quality assurance practices.
4. Documenting information accurately on work orders.
5. Performing visual and measurement inspections as directed.
6. Compiling and reporting inspection data.
7. Participating in quality audits and recommending improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle complex components.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Basic math skills for data analysis.
- Competency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on assembly and inspection processes.
Physical Demands:
The role requires the ability to:
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Use manual and power tools safely.
- Perform tasks that may involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Compensation and Benefits:
