Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Laboratory, you will:

1. Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations.
2. Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment.
3. Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions.
4. Assist in the upkeep of equipment and inventory.
5. Assess the functioning and readiness of procedure rooms and equipment.
6. Procure supplies for individual cases, ensuring the needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
7. Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
8. Continuously observe and document patient conditions while in the Cardiovascular Lab.
9. Engage in performance improvement and continuous quality enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
2. An active state Registered Nursing (RN) License is required.
3. Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire, and maintenance of these certifications is required.
4. A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting is required.
