Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiovascular services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Interventional Cardiologists and CV Specialists in providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Implement and perform cardiac catheterization plans of care using standards of A.O.R.N. aseptic technique, cardiac and peripheral anatomy and physiology, radiographic imaging technique, standards of nursing care, and principles of cardiovascular technology.
  • Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to new employees and contribute to the development of our cardiovascular services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in cardiovascular nursing or a related field.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
