Position Overview

The Supply Chain Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and optimizing the flow of materials across various Quality Technology Services locations.

This role will collaborate and strategize with Procurement Project Managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure that material requirements are fulfilled for diverse projects within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory management and shipping processes with third-party vendors to enhance efficiency in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Design, implement, and document procedures to continuously improve the organization's capability to transfer assets between sites within the expected time frame for optimal efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with transportation carriers, warehouses, and other third-party partners to ensure the successful execution of business objectives.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and operational efficiencies to ensure that supply chain goals are being met.
  • Anticipate equipment requirements based on proposed business strategies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various building types and their impact on equipment needs to inform design decisions.
  • Proactively identify and address unique equipment requirements for each site while collaborating closely with business units to mitigate risks and challenges.
  • Develop and document logistics processes for the Procurement Development department to enhance the logistics and supply chain network.
  • Generate and communicate status updates to facilitate effective decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience in tracking and data analysis.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Data Center or similar operational environment.
  • Background in tracking and data analysis.
  • Experience collaborating with Construction Management Firms.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Equipment Manufacturers.
