Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate medication order-entry, drug distribution, and patient care, confirming the appropriateness of drug therapy for patients of all ages.
  • Minimize turnaround time for products and services, ensuring timely delivery of medications and supplies.
  • Supervise pharmacy support personnel, verifying the accuracy of tasks performed and providing guidance as needed.
  • Participate in departmental committees and contribute to the provision of education, enhancing the skills and knowledge of our team members.
  • Represent the department in its collaborative effort to integrate pharmaceutical care throughout the patient's continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree - BS or PharmD degree
  • South Carolina Pharmacist License (or pending initial licensure or reciprocity)
  • Basic Computer Skills, Data Entry, and Math Skills
