Job Summary

As a Pharmacist Operations PRN, you will play a vital role in providing patient care through the provision of direct operational and/or clinical patient services. You will collaborate with the department to enhance departmental operations and clinical programs, participating in departmental committees and providing education as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides accurate medication order-entry, drug distribution, and patient care.
  • Confirms the appropriateness of drug therapy for patients of all ages.
  • Minimizes turnaround time for products and services.
  • Provides concise and timely responses to requests for drug information.
  • Supervises pharmacy support personnel and verifies the accuracy of tasks performed.
  • Provides lab review, clinical services, patient education, and documentation via clinical initiatives.
  • Provides experiential education and training for technicians, students, and new employees.
  • Represents the department in its collaborative effort to integrate pharmaceutical care throughout the patient's continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree - BS or PharmD degree.
  • South Carolina Pharmacist License.
  • Basic Computer Skills, Data Entry, and Math Skills.
