Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Covington & Burling LLP is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to support the Firm's Litigation groups in marketing and developing new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to secure new clients and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create and execute marketing campaigns, including content development, event planning, and social media management.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources.
  • Assist in the development of business proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Track and analyze business development metrics and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a professional services marketing role.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
