Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Risk Officer to lead our audit and risk management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to ensure the integrity and security of our financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the audit and risk management teams to identify, assess, and report on risks facing the organization.
  • Oversee the planning, administration, and execution of dynamic audit programs to ensure adequate, effective, and efficient audit coverage.
  • Collaborate with senior management to improve risk management infrastructure and operations.
  • Participate in various risk management and governance-related committees to ensure internal controls and procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in audit functions at a large US financial services firm or commensurate experience as an examiner within the financial services industry.
  • Professional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Information Systems Auditor.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and lead individuals across departments.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational agility, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience in audit, oversight, or delivery of risk management programs in a large financial institution.
  • Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Completion of a Graduate School of Banking.
