Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints while ensuring adequate stock for each meal service.
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight for diet planning, menu development, preparation, and service of both standard and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared in a timely manner, adhering to established menus and dietary orders.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families, as needed, to gather dietary history.
  • Complete the dietary section of the clinical record accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in regular meetings, including departmental head conferences and interdisciplinary care planning sessions.
Qualifications
  • Must hold registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
  • Preferred experience of one (1) to two (2) years in a management or supervisory role.
