Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints, ensuring adequate stock for meal preparation.
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight in diet planning, menu development, and the preparation and service of both standard and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared promptly while adhering to established menus and dietary prescriptions.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather dietary histories as needed.
  • Complete the dietary sections of clinical records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in regular meetings, including department head conferences and interdisciplinary care planning sessions.
Qualifications
  • Must possess registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
  • Preferred experience includes one to two years in a management or supervisory role.
