Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints and ensuring adequate stock for meal service.
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight in diet planning, menu development, and the preparation and serving of both standard and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure that meals are not only nutritious but also appealing and prepared promptly, in accordance with established menus and dietary orders.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families, as needed, to gather dietary histories.
  • Accurately complete the dietary sections of clinical records in a timely manner.
  • Participate in regular meetings, including department head conferences and interdisciplinary care planning sessions.
Qualifications
  • Must possess registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in a management or supervisory role.
