Case Manager

Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will work closely with a small legal representation team to provide holistic services to unaccompanied children.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive case management assessments using a trauma-informed lens to identify youth strengths, vulnerabilities, and needs.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of social services available to youth and make referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with the attorney to implement Individual Success Plans, utilizing person-centered practices to support youth and their families.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, including case management files and reporting databases.
- Participate in relevant trainings and meetings as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
- Experience working with children, preferably unaccompanied minors, immigrant and refugee children, or survivors of abuse, human trafficking, or other trauma.
- Intercultural responsiveness, sensitivity, and awareness, as well as cross-cultural communication skills.
- Spanish language fluency is required, and proficiency in an indigenous Mayan language is highly encouraged.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative, with a strong desire to provide immigration services on an interdisciplinary team.
