Pediatric RN Registered Nurse Intermediate Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Pediatric RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
- 2+ years of inpatient pediatric experience.
- Ability to precept new RNs and fulfill Charge RN duties.
