About the Role

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical Surgical Orthopedics to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our Medical Surgical Orthopedic department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives that align with the hospital's overall strategic plan.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and the community to promote excellent patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to ensure the department remains at the forefront of medical care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN or APRN licensure.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a Medical Surgical Orthopedic department.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and achieving excellent patient outcomes.
