Job Title: Orthopedic Med Surg RN

Riverview Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Med Surg RN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The Orthopedic Med Surg RN will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
