About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a Preschool Teacher and Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality educational program for children aged 2-5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-supervise the day-to-day operation of the children in a licensed day care facility environment
  • Plan and implement curriculum and outdoor activities that promote learning and development
  • Assist in the supervision of practicum and field study students
  • Work effectively as a member of a child development team, with children, parents, staff members, and community representatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and training
  • Current California Child Development Program permit at teacher level or higher
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • 2 years working in licensed center-based child care facilities
  • Absence of active TB and other immunizations as required by Community Care Licensing
