Early Childhood Education Professional

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at the Early Childhood Education Center. As a Preschool Teacher and Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality educational program for children aged 2-5 years.
Key Responsibilities- Co-supervise the day-to-day operation of the children in a licensed day care facility environment
- Plan curriculum and outdoor activities that promote learning and development
- Assist in the supervision of practicum and field study students
- Work effectively as a member of a child development team to provide a quality educational program
- Demonstrate a nurturing, warm, and supportive attitude when interacting with children
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training
- Current California Child Development Program permit at teacher level or higher
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- 2 years of experience working in licensed center-based child care facilities
- Absence of active TB and other immunizations as required by Community Care Licensing
