Position Overview

As a vital member of the Human Capital team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the onboarding process for new hires. This role encompasses all aspects of onboarding, from managing offer letters to ensuring a smooth transition for employees on their first day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to onboarding, including the creation of personnel files and coordination with internal departments.
  • Draft offer letters for selected candidates and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding new-hire paperwork and provide ongoing support throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Manage pre-boarding documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Address inquiries from new hires and internal teams regarding the onboarding process.
  • Conduct background checks and resolve any issues that may arise during verification.
  • Create and maintain employee records in the HRIS.
  • Assist with I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and E-Verify processes.
  • Foster relationships with various departments to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the applicant tracking system.
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition & Development team as needed.

Qualifications
  • 0-3 years of experience in Human Capital, Talent Acquisition, or HR Operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and ICIMS is advantageous.

Skills
  • Strong data entry, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and retirement plans, this role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
