We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Manager to lead our network operations team in support of our Wide Area Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing operational policies, procedures, and work plans to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement network operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to resolve chronic network issues and ensure branch productivity.
- Collaborate with the NOC and engineers to streamline day-to-day operations and maximize branch uptime.
- Make key decisions and positively influence direct reports to achieve business objectives.
- Provide expert technical knowledge and guidance to the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality network services.
- Proven background managing large networks with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
- Proven experience managing 24x7x365 networks with a strong understanding of network operations and management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Advanced documentation and network diagramming skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to excel in cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Five plus years of experience managing networks with a focus on operations and management.
- Two plus years of managerial experience with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Industry certifications a plus.
