Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Trainee to join our team. As a Sales Development Trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive 6-month training program to develop your sales and branding skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 6-month training program to develop sales and branding skills
  • Maintain a positive and engaged mindset to achieve sales targets
  • Consistently exceed sales targets through proactive engagement and effective communication
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through research, networking, and cold outreach
  • Utilize various tools and platforms to source new leads and build a robust pipeline
  • Conduct virtual outreach through email, social media, and phone calls to connect with potential clients
  • Schedule and attend initial meetings to understand client needs and present our product offerings
  • Follow up on leads and maintain relationships with prospects to convert them into loyal customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
  • Work towards achieving set targets and performance metrics to qualify for promotion to a Business Development Manager role

Requirements
  • Attended or attending a university (Graduating Winter 2024); a degree in business, sales, advertising, marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related role is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for door-to-door prospecting
  • Willingness to relocate pending graduation for career development
