Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Test Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering to join our hardware testing team. This team comprises a diverse group of mechanical, electrical, software, and quality engineers and technicians focused on enhancing our understanding of robotics and the fulfillment of millions of customer orders daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement testing protocols for subsystem verification and comprehensive system validation to support new technology and product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with hardware development engineers, manufacturing engineering, and solutions engineering to define, execute, and report on testing activities.

Daily Activities:

Your role will involve extensive testing of Amazon Robotics hardware throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with development, product, and safety teams to:

  • Create detailed test plans.
  • Design and construct necessary testing fixtures.
  • Collect and analyze data.
  • Draft and present thorough test reports.

Basic Qualifications:
