Commercial Lines Account Manager

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our agency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a select portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Developing and streamlining departmental workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations and drive business growth.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, including cross-selling and enhancing coverage options.
  • Driving the achievement of agency goals and performance objectives through strategic planning and execution.
  • Enhancing the client service experience through continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Generating and analyzing monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals and objectives.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers to ensure optimal partnerships.
  • Fostering a productive and positive work environment within the department through effective leadership and communication.
  • Providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites.
  • Participating in annual staff evaluations and contributing to the hiring and training of new team members.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success.
  • An active P & C License, with a strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Applied Epic, with experience in using the system to manage client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and team members.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving business results.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and customer service abilities, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in using the tools to manage client relationships and drive business growth.
