Key Responsibilities
- Conducts research, design, development, and testing of various electronic systems and equipment, including radar and radiation detection tools, communication devices, and control apparatus.
- Creates and evaluates electronic systems, components, or circuits for integration into machinery or equipment.
- Assesses existing operational systems and suggests design enhancements to rectify malfunctions or adapt to evolving system requirements.
- Explores new applications of conductive materials in components and their integration into products or systems.
- Utilizes computer-aided engineering and design software to execute tasks effectively.
- Designs testing apparatus and establishes procedures for product evaluation.
- Handles technician responsibilities related to the setup, configuration, and upkeep of electronic devices.
- Performs basic analysis and necessary repairs on electronic circuits.
- Active Top Secret clearance required, with the potential for upgrade to TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for formal education.
- At least one year of soldering experience with demonstrable proficiency.
- Minimum of one year of experience in designing, constructing, or repairing basic electronic circuits, including transistors and operational amplifiers.
- Experience in installing and configuring common IP equipment found in smart homes, such as IP cameras and security systems.
- Prior experience in installing and testing network cables, patch panels, and racks.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments, including Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Logic Analyzer, Power Load Generator, Signal Generator, and Multi-Meter.
- Strong analytical, listening, and technical troubleshooting skills.

Compensation
The typical salary range for this position is $80,000 - $128,000, reflecting the expected compensation based on experience and other relevant factors.
