Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Front Desk staff to ensure efficient operations during assigned shifts.
  • Develop and communicate daily sales strategies to optimize hotel occupancy.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of service standards and ensure compliance.
  • Train and mentor staff to enhance performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate with staff to provide clear instructions and feedback.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address guest and team member concerns.
  • Manage desk operations, resolving guest issues and emergencies as they arise.
  • Act as the hotel Manager on Duty when scheduled.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests upon arrival.
Additional Functions:
  • Assist with guest relocations as necessary.
  • Prepare daily forecasts of expected arrivals and departures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Two-year Associates degree.
  • Required: Experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • Preferred: Two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 40 pounds.
