Position Overview:

As a vital member of our hospitality team, the Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. This position involves welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor and managing their check-in and check-out processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a warm and professional manner, providing assistance and information about hotel services.
  • Handle guest registrations, issue room keys, and offer guidance on room locations.
  • Manage incoming calls promptly and courteously, addressing inquiries and requests.
  • Maximize hotel revenue by promoting room upgrades and additional services.
  • Process all financial transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments, and maintain a secure bank.
  • Oversee guest safe-deposit box operations, ensuring security and accessibility.
  • Communicate any guest requests or issues to management for follow-up.
  • Respond effectively to guest complaints, implementing service recovery strategies to enhance satisfaction.
  • Assist with booking reservations and managing cancellations or modifications as needed.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration with other departments to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including conducting guest room tours and fulfilling special requests.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in front desk or guest services. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift items up to 50 pounds, and operate various computer systems.
