Job Title: Commercial Banking Relationship Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at Southside Bank. As a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial lending activities in compliance with our bank's policies and procedures. You will generate new commercial customer relationships and maintain existing commercial customer bases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial customer development and growth
- Marketing of bank products and services to commercial customers
- Customer deposit and check approval
- Participation in weekly Director's Loan Committee meetings and/or monthly Asset/Liability Committee meetings
- Commercial real estate lending and light consumer lending
- Investment and working capital lending
- Providing exceptional customer service and representing the bank in public, social, and civic gatherings
- Staying current on regulations, analysis, and current trends in banking through continuing education classes/seminars
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Minimum of three to five years of direct lending or credit analyst experience with a focus on commercial/business relationships
- Extensive knowledge of commercial banking industry products and services
- Adequate training and working knowledge of credit and underwriting experience
- Sales experience and familiarity with loan processing and closing procedures
Working Conditions:
- Well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
- Moderate noise level
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Available for overtime as needed
