Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Structuring & Execution / Transaction Oversight

· Aid in the structuring and execution of structured finance transactions (warehouse and term ABS) for the Special Situations division across North America.

o Special Situations assets encompass Art Loans, Leveraged Loans, Future Flow,

Collateralized Fund Obligations, and other niche financial products.

· Collaborate with the Securitization Quantitative team to perform financial modeling for new transactions and facility renewals.

· Review legal documents and negotiate essential terms with clients, legal representatives, rating agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders during the structuring and execution phases.

· Engage in the preparation of credit submissions and facilitate Q&A processes with credit, legal, and other internal stakeholders as part of the evaluation process for transactions.

· Assist in the ongoing reporting and monitoring of the booked portfolio, including performance evaluations and responding to amendment and ad hoc requests.

· Compile transaction summaries and generate ad hoc reports and presentations for internal use, reflecting transaction status, outcomes, and other management requirements.

· Provide additional execution support to the broader Securitization group at Crédit Agricole CIB, including Clean Energy, Operating Asset (Container, Aviation, Rail), Auto, and Trade Receivable sectors.

2. Pitching, Origination, and Support

· Update and maintain presentation templates and credentials.

· Prepare pitch books in collaboration with team members for prospective clients and opportunities.

· Assist in preliminary analyses, including data reviews, research of rating agency reports/methodologies, and economic reports for prospective asset classes and transaction structures.

3. Counterparties and Clients

· Cultivate and sustain relationships with i) peers in other divisions of Crédit Agricole CIB, ii) clients of the bank, and iii) third parties involved in the transaction process.

o Key Internal Contacts: Client Coverage bankers, the wider Securitization team, ABS Syndicate, DCM Sales and Trading, Senior Management, and relevant support functions (risk, operations, credit, and legal departments).

o Key External Contacts: Securitization clients and prospective clients, legal counsel, third-party auditors, consultants, and rating agencies.

4. Management and Reporting

· Reports to the Global Head of Special Situations and local management within the Special Situations team.

Qualifications/Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.

Experience Required

  • 2-3 years of experience within a financial institution (bank, fund, rating agency, or insurance).
  • Familiarity with structured finance is preferred.

Specialist Training Required

  • FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63, 79 (can be obtained post-hiring).

Competencies Required

  • Ability to adapt to and manage changing timelines; work collaboratively within a team as well as independently; sound judgment; strong writing and presentation skills.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal; knowledge of Corporate Finance and Accounting.
  • Prior experience with financial models and cash flows is advantageous.
