Job Summary

Team and Position
Crédit Agricole CIB is recognized as one of the leading banking institutions globally. Our New York-based Leveraged Finance team plays a crucial role in the origination and execution of leveraged buyouts (LBOs) in collaboration with prominent Private Equity Funds across North America. Additionally, we handle financing for leveraged (non-investment grade) corporations through loans and high-yield bonds.
The team also manages event-driven financing for Investment Grade clients, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and initial public offerings (IPOs), as well as structured financing transactions in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. This includes the current trend of infrastructure-related deals involving tower companies, data centers, and fiber companies in North America and Latin America.
As we build on our recent achievements, we are expanding our team to meet our ambitious growth objectives. We are looking for an analyst to join us.
This role involves direct client interaction within a dynamic team, with immediate involvement in live transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior team members in the origination, structuring, and execution of transactions for Corporate and Sponsor clients within the leveraged finance and TMT sectors.
  • Identify and propose financing solutions for clients across various debt capital markets, including bank loans, institutional financing, Term Loan B, and both secured and unsecured high-yield bond markets.
  • Contribute to internal and external deal processes, focusing on deal documentation, credit assessments, and underwriting approvals.
  • Prepare marketing materials and pitch books tailored for sponsor and corporate clients.
  • Monitor and analyze developments in primary and secondary capital markets, managing the assimilation of relevant intelligence for client-ready market updates and discussions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, financial modeling, and credit request preparation.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members within the team.
  • Analyze capital structures for new and existing clients, including comparable transaction analysis and market data evaluation.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams, including interest and FX hedging, liability management, securitization, ECM, M&A, as well as coverage, credit, and legal teams on new and ongoing transactions.
  • Gain exposure to all stages of transactions, including negotiation and execution of term sheets and credit documents in coordination with internal and external legal counsel.
  • Monitor the existing client loan portfolio for credit quality and financial performance, identifying potential new transactions and refinancing opportunities.
