Job Summary
The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Research Associate positions in the Academic Support Staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate the regulation and functions of cellular metabolism in cancer cells and stem cells using molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, metabolic analysis, and animal models.
- Develop critical thinking skills and familiarize with related literatures and experimental techniques.
- Prepare manuscripts and grant proposals, present research findings in national and international meetings, mentor junior scientists, and participate in career trainings offered by the University.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of postdoctoral experience.
