Diagnostic Pathology Opportunities

The Pathology Department at Staff Icons processes a significant volume of surgical specimens and frozen sections annually, with a focus on cancer-related cases.

As a Diagnostic Pathologist, you will participate in sign-out responsibilities, contribute to fellow teaching, and pursue an academic program aligned with your interests.

We offer ample opportunities for translational research utilizing our state-of-the-art molecular genomic laboratory and collaboration with other faculty members.

Start-up funds and laboratory space are available to suitable candidates. We value specialty training, academic productivity, interest in molecular studies, and clinical excellence in diagnostic pathology.

Appointment and salary will depend on your level of experience and accomplishments. Requirements include being a US citizen or permanent resident, holding an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and having Board Certification/Eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, along with an unrestricted medical license/eligibility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
