Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practical Nurse to join our team at Park Nicollet. As a member of our family medicine department, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients of all ages, from infants to adults.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, document necessary visit information, and prepare and administer medications as directed by a clinician.
- Perform and assist with procedures and treatments, such as administering hearing/vision tests, nebulizer treatments, and specimen collection.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, procedures, and standards.
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Basic computer/keyboarding skills required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.
- Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing and skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Our clinic is open to serve patients 7:30 am-6pm Monday – Tuesday, 7:30 am-5pm Wednesday-Fridays, and 8am-12pm the second Saturday of each month. For this role, you would be expected to work at least 1 later evening, and 4-6 Saturdays each year, which would be worked into your FTE that week.
