We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practical Nurse to join our team at HealthPartners. As a key member of our family medicine department, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, and adults.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, document necessary visit information, and prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by a clinician.
- Perform and assist with procedures and treatments, such as administering hearing and vision tests, nebulizer treatments, and specimen collection.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, procedures, and standards.
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- One or more years of nursing experience is desirable, preferably in a related field of medicine.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Basic computer/keyboarding skills required.
- Current state license of practical nursing and skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
