- Deliver exceptional service consistently.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, confirm billing details, create reservations, and accommodate special requests.
- Assist guests with knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and service hours.
- Collaborate with team members to meet guest expectations and support other departments as needed.
- Implement the company’s guest service recovery strategies.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to enhance room revenue.
- Monitor room availability and adhere to booking policies and procedures.
- Drive sales through upselling of rooms and additional services.
- Follow company protocols for cash handling and financial transactions.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and adhere to cost control measures.
- Organize and prioritize work duties to meet productivity standards.
- Comply with company policies, department procedures, and general work rules.
- Participate in all required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with regulations.
- Be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of guest service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to move throughout the hotel for extended periods.
Compensation: Pay rate for this position ranges from $15 to $18.75 per hour.
