Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Quirch Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintenance facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead all maintenance operations and processes, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and enforce maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and running at optimal levels.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and take prompt action to resolve issues.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks as required, including maintaining repair logs and documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Account for all tools, materials, and relative equipment, and place orders for new supplies as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company safety rules and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a related field, preferably with previous managerial experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade, as well as hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.
  • Leadership and Organizational Abilities: Excellent leadership and organizational abilities, with strong knowledge of facilities' machines and equipment.
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and ability to use software applications as required.
