Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic Team member to join our Slope Maintenance Department at Steamboat Ski Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including snowcats, snowmobiles, and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain vehicles, snowcats, and snowmobiles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Work with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
