Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Windows laptops, soft-phones, and peripheral devices
- Install, test, and support peripherals such as scanners and printers
- Manage user accounts and passwords, and provide password reset assistance
- Provide multi-factor authentication and basic cyber security guidance
- Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and best practices
Requirements:
- 6+ months of experience in a technical support or service center role
- Experience with Windows 10 and laptop installation, including Windows drivers
- Experience installing, testing, and supporting peripherals such as scanners and printers
- Experience with MS Office products such as Teams, Outlook, Office 365 online, and Excel
- Knowledge of active directory for user credentials management and password reset
- Knowledge of multi-factor authentication and basic cyber security risks and mitigation
