Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Cardiology team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, adhering to applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses and new hires.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Requirements
  • Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • PALS American Academy of Pediatrics (PALS AAP) - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  • Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate
  • Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. The RN must be able to work with minimal supervision and have effective communication skills.
