Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for industrial vacuum pumps and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs in strict adherence to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using the latest tools and techniques.
  • Maintain records of all work performed using advanced hardware and software tools.
  • Equip yourself with the necessary tools and ensure their ongoing maintenance to support high-quality service.
  • Acquire advanced skills in VSD's, PLC, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and leak audits to provide the best possible solutions.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and be prepared for overtime when needed.
  • Promote knowledge-sharing and on-the-job training among colleagues to enhance collective expertise and provide outstanding service.
  • Represent the company with pride, projecting a knowledgeable and customer-centric image to customers.
  • Perform all responsibilities observing Atlas Copco standards, aiming to understand and meet the needs and expectations of customers.
  • Communicate with all team members to ensure the job is completed.
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities, demonstrating commitment to the success of the team and customers.
  • Aim to exemplify the Atlas Copco 'Way' and foster a culture of excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support in maintaining and improving the QMS and ISO 9001 certification.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or HVAC.
  • 1+ years of technical experience with troubleshooting and resolving field equipment issues.
  • Knowledgeable in technical expertise, combining mechanical and electrical components.
  • Blueprint and technical reading skills.
  • Familiar with manufacturing/production or assembly-plant working conditions.
  • Customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
  • Motivated to achieve targets.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
