Job Overview

This position involves significant responsibilities in the installation and maintenance of industrial machinery. The role requires a skilled individual to manage the removal and installation of equipment, with a strong emphasis on rigging and millwright expertise.


Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $35.00
Per Diem: $100.00


Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints, layout plans, and vendor manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Dismantle machinery using various hand tools.
  • Transport machinery and equipment utilizing hoists and dollies.
  • Assemble and install equipment such as conveyors and tram rails with the use of cranes and power tools.
  • Construct machine foundations using hand tools and materials like wood and steel.
  • Align machines and equipment with precision tools.
  • Possess knowledge of optical and laser alignment techniques.
  • Assemble machinery and secure it to foundations using appropriate fastening methods.
  • May operate machinery to fabricate parts to specifications.
  • May be involved in robotic installations and programming.
  • Load and unload materials and tools as required.
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and project guidelines.

Physical Demands:

The role requires regular communication and the ability to use hands for operation of tools and equipment. The individual must be capable of standing, walking, climbing, and occasionally lifting heavy items.


Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with relevant experience in the field. Familiarity with industry practices and procedures is essential.
