About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mission Assurance Analyst, Energy to join our team at ICF. As a key member of our Security and Resilience practice, you will work on-site in a cleared environment, supporting the U.S. Department of Defense's analyses, policies, and guidance for mission assurance, defense critical infrastructure, and related security and resilience programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of civilian and military electric power and other energy infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze other infrastructure
  • Develop and document high-quality analyses with attention to detail
  • Respond to urgent tasks and complete detailed analyses
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in areas such as electric power asset operation, transmission and distribution engineering, power resource planning, or power flow simulation
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Consulting environment
  • US Citizenship required due to client requirements
  • Active, in-scope Security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mission assurance, homeland security, infrastructure protection, or related safety and security policies
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional working environment, including recent experience in a cleared setting
  • DoD experience (civilian or military)
  • High-level clearance
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with an emphasis on timely completion and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Team player with the ability to adjust work pace to match client priorities and competing demands
  • Demonstrated professionalism in providing onsite support, including good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
  • Solid experience with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
