Monroeville, Pennsylvania, United States Integrity Psychological Services Full time
Job Overview

Are you feeling constrained in a large agency setting that limits your professional identity as a therapist? Have you found that the therapeutic methods you learned in graduate school have become a distant memory?

At Integrity Psychological Services, we offer a refreshing alternative. Here are some insights from our current clinicians who transitioned to our private practice:

  • "I've rediscovered my passion for therapy, thanks to Integrity"
  • "The supportive environment here is unparalleled; I wouldn't want to work anywhere else."
  • "My year at Integrity Psych has been one of the most fulfilling periods of my career, with incredible support from the team."
  • "Integrity Psych is truly my ideal workplace. I love being part of this team."

Integrity Psychological Services is a specialized group practice comprised of over 20 dedicated and compassionate clinicians. We view ourselves as 'refugees' from the community mental health sector, which often leads to burnout and inadequate compensation. We reject the notion that therapists must sacrifice their well-being to earn a decent living.

Since our establishment, we have experienced significant growth and recognition, including being named one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Northeast. As a woman-owned practice, we take pride in our achievements and are committed to expanding our services to the community.

To accommodate our ongoing growth, we are excited to welcome two more licensed therapists in Pennsylvania (Ph.D., Psy.D, LCSW, LPC, LMFT).

We are seeking therapists and psychologists to work with children, adolescents, adults, and/or couples. You are not required to engage with all demographics; rather, we encourage you to focus on the populations you are most passionate about and skilled in serving.

We believe that individuals perform at their best and find the most satisfaction in their careers when they are supported in their areas of strength.

Requirements:

  • A valid and active license to practice in Pennsylvania (or be a PSYPACT psychologist).
  • Ability to practice independently while valuing collaborative consultation.
  • A genuine interest in continuing education and professional development.
  • A clear understanding of your clinical style and the populations you work best with.
  • Strong organizational skills and prompt communication with clients.
  • Ability to provide Telehealth services and maintain a confidential workspace, with availability for in-person sessions as needed.
  • Proficiency in using web-based practice systems and Excel.
  • Understanding of the importance of the initial session in establishing a therapeutic relationship.
  • Ideally, already credentialed with Highmark, BC/BS, UPMC, Optum/UBH, and/or Aetna (note: we do not accept Medicaid).
  • A recognition that client retention is a mutual responsibility.
  • Alignment with our core values of transparency, integrity, collegiality, and enjoyment in the workplace.

Compensation: $100,000+ gross based on caseload size.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual or couples therapy to high-functioning clients through a secure telehealth platform or in-person.
  • Ensure complete documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Maintain open communication with our administrative team as necessary.
  • Utilize electronic health records and client portals effectively.
  • Manage your own schedule and communicate availability to the admin team.
  • Submit weekly Excel spreadsheets for billing purposes.
  • Engage in relevant continuing education to enhance your practice.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed with Highmark, UPMC, and/or Aetna.
  • Desire to be part of a collaborative environment where your unique contributions are valued.
  • An active clinical license is essential; supervision for licensure is not available.
  • Interest in attending monthly case consultations or peer supervision (optional but preferred).
  • Comfortable using technology for remote work and communication.
  • Skilled in working with clients focused on personal growth and development.
  • Willingness to conduct 20 to 25+ therapy sessions weekly (achievable in 3 or 4 days).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and/or Mindfulness.
  • Special interest or training in couples therapy is highly desirable.

About Integrity Psychological Services:

Integrity Psychological Services fosters a collegial atmosphere where mutual respect is paramount. We support one another as a team, enjoy our work, and take pride in maintaining a 'no drama' practice. As individuals who have transitioned from the community mental health sector, we emphasize the importance of having control over our professional endeavors while achieving a healthy work-life balance.
