Key Responsibilities- Collaboration and Assessment: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide ongoing assessments of patient status, gathering pertinent patient care data and reporting changes to relevant staff.
- Patient Care and Activities: Provide direct patient care, including activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, and patient-focused testing. Facilitate group activities and report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Leadership and Support: Lead or co-lead social, recreational, and therapeutic activities that enhance patients' social relationships and interpersonal skills.
- Unit Activities: Participate in unit activities such as supplies stocking, patient transport, and equipment/appliance cleaning.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Certifications and Clearances: CPR - American Heart Association, Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
