The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming member out-of-pocket expenses and collaborating with the Care team, Customer Success, and Finance team to ensure an exceptional member experience. This is an in-office position in Des Moines, Iowa.
Shift RequirementsCandidates must be available to work one of the following shifts:
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
- 2:00 AM - 11:00 AM PST
- 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST
This role will coordinate activity between our Payments team and insurance payers to ensure that payment for applicable care is quickly and accurately facilitated. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing incoming member out-of-pocket expenses
- Collaborating with the Care team, Customer Success, and Finance team
- Ensuring an exceptional member experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, including claims submission/processing experience
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Structured thinker and love to check things off your to-do list
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues

Carrot offers a holistic, total rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work. This is a non-exempt position with a base pay of $31 to $33 per hour. In addition, this role may include variable compensation based on performance. Overtime pay will apply when required, and paid overtime may be necessary during peak periods.
