**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the program management group in negotiating various elements of contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations.
  • Assist the legal and program management departments in reviewing proposals, compliance requirements, and regulations to ensure seamless contract administration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential contract risks and issues.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract administration, including the preparation and review of contract documents, and the negotiation of contract terms and conditions.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field.
  • Working experience using and interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word documents.
  • Knowledge of US Government, USCG, and ABS forms for submittals during a project.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Working experience in the Shipbuilding and/or steel manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
